Traditionally Christmas decorations are taken down on the twelfth day of Christmas – this week! Regardless of when you’re putting away Christmas decorations, it’s a great idea to follow these simple rules:

- Dismantle and gather all your decorations into one spot, including the ones you didn’t use this year
- Declutter if you hadn’t before Christmas – what decorations were not put up…why? Do you still want and love them or can you give them to charity?
- Find a spot to store all your decorations together. Use an area that is hard to get to as you only need to access one day a year and it’s a good idea to leave the easy to access storage areas for often used items.
